*The registration fee contains the costs for all coffee breaks and lunches, the conference dinner, the use of conference facilities, and the conference shuttle bus. Accommodation and travel should be booked independently.
Abstract submission
Abstracts will be submitted upon registration. The organizing committee will promote a few submissions to contributed talks.
Important Dates
The following key dates are envisaged (subject to change):
- May 01, 2026: Abstract submission opens.
- June 01, 2026: Deadline for abstract submission
- June 30, 2026: Notification of abstract acceptance & registration opens
- July 31, 2026: Registration closes.
- September 7-11, 2026: Atomic Quantum Matter Conference

Payment confirmation
You will receive both a written confirmation of your payment as well as a confirmation of your successful registration via email. Please carefully check your inbox to make sure you received both emails.

Invoice
Upon registration and payment, you will automatically receive an invoice. Please ensure you enter all necessary details for the invoice during the registration process.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email aqm2026@ist.ac.at.
Fees will be refunded according to the following policy:
- 90% refund until July 15, 2026 (10% to account for administrative costs)
- No refund from July 16, 2026
Organizers shall not be liable for refunds should visas not be obtained.
