The Atomic Quantum Matter 2026 conference will bring together the international community working on large assemblies of individually controlled atoms – including quantum gas microscopes, and atomic tweezer arrays – to discuss the latest advances and emerging directions in this rapidly evolving field.
Recent progress in controlling, imaging, and manipulating neutral atoms with single-particle precision has opened unprecedented opportunities to explore strongly correlated quantum matter, non-equilibrium dynamics, and quantum information processing with many-body systems. This meeting aims to connect researchers across these frontiers, bridging experiment and theory to address fundamental questions about the organization and dynamics of complex quantum systems.
The program will feature invited and contributed talks, poster sessions, and ample time for informal discussions in the scenic setting of ISTA’s campus near Vienna. We look forward to an inspiring week of exchange and collaboration in Atomic Quantum Matter 2026.
